Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.51% — moderately similar

The Fender Custom Shop Danny Gatton Signature Telecaster recreates Gatton's heavily modified vintage 50s Tele with swamp ash body, maple neck, and dual custom Joe Barden pickups modeled on his original guitar's specs. The Barden pickups deliver bright, twangy, biting, and crystal-clear tone with warm snappiness and full humbucking without true humbucker harshness, noiseless and handling everything from twangy country to smooth jazz to gritty blues. A fat custom 50s U-shaped neck with 9.5-inch radius and vintage frets enables big pedal-steel bends and chords alike.
The Suhr Guthrie Govan Signature Modern Pro is a hand-crafted collaboration between Guthrie Govan and John Suhr featuring basswood body with plain maple top, roasted maple neck and fingerboard with 16 inch radius and 24 stainless steel jumbo frets. The HSH pickup configuration includes Suhr SSV neck, ML Standard middle, and SSH Plus bridge pickups. Hardware includes Gotoh 510 bridge with 2-post bent saddles and steel block, master volume, master tone with neck humbucker split, 5-way lever pickup selector, and blower switch. The compound radius fingerboard facilitates seamless transitions between chords and solos. The tone is lush, clear, and ballsy—versatile across jazz, shredding, fusion, and contemporary styles.
