The Fernandes Goldtop Custom is Robert Fripp's main modern guitar, a custom Japanese-built solidbody fitted with a Fernandes Sustainer system, a MIDI pickup and a Kahler tremolo. The Sustainer delivers infinite, controllable sustain and feedback, central to Fripp's soundscapes and King Crimson textures. It pairs with his processing rig for ambient, progressive and experimental playing.

The Jackson PC1 is Phil Collen's signature Dinky-style superstrat, one of Jackson's original signature models. It features a caramelized mahogany body, a fast bolt-on flame-maple neck with compound-radius board and 24 jumbo frets, a Floyd Rose tremolo, and a distinctive HSS layout with a DiMarzio Super 3 bridge humbucker, a DiMarzio HS-2 middle single coil and a built-in Sustainer/Driver in the neck for endless sustain of fundamentals or harmonics. The result is a versatile, high-performance rock and metal guitar with cutting lead tone, expressive sustained notes and usable single-coil sounds, tailored to Collen's polished Def Leppard style.
