At 100W it delivers the full professional stage power of the Jose-voiced high-gain character — aggressive, forward midrange, harmonically rich saturation from a modified Marshall-style circuit — in Friedman boutique hand-wired construction.

The Wizard Vintage Modern 100W was built by Rick St. Pierre, AC/DC's amp technician of over 27 years, who has serviced Angus and Malcolm Young's amps throughout that entire span, giving the amp direct pedigree from someone with unmatched hands-on knowledge of the band's actual live and studio tone requirements. It combines a dual-channel all-tube design with a 4-8-16 ohm impedance selector, four power tubes available in either E34L or KT77 configurations, and a built-in effects loop, letting players move between clean and overdriven tones while integrating pedals cleanly into the signal path. Angus Young used the amp in his later touring years, and the same platform has drawn a notably wide range of other prominent players including James Hetfield, Joe Perry, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Joe Satriani, and Billy Gibbons.
