Two channels provide the versatile clean and high-gain range Stevens requires for his diverse playing style — from clean to heavily saturated lead — in a Friedman hand-wired professional chassis. The V2 designation indicates the second revision of the Stevens signature platform.

The PRS 30 is a 30-watt all-tube EL84-driven amplifier with a single channel and built-in reverb, paired with a 12-inch Celestion Alnico Blue speaker for a warm, dynamically responsive character built around high-quality components and a heavy-duty steel chassis. Warren Haynes used two of them, run double-stacked on tour, as part of the amplification behind his 2011 solo album Man in Motion, alongside PRS's Sweet 16 model, giving him a boutique-grade tube platform distinct from the bigger Marshall and Fender-style rigs more commonly associated with Southern rock and jam-band guitarists.
