Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Fryette Power Station 100 is a 100-watt all-tube power amplifier and reactive load system from Fryette Amplification, the larger sibling to the standard Power Station PS-2. The Power Station allows a guitar amplifier to be used as a preamp, feeding its signal into the Power Station power stage and speaker or output. It functions as a power attenuator, re-amplifier, and DI solution, enabling silent or attenuated recording and performance with a real tube power stage in the signal path. The 100W output provides stage-capable re-amplification authority.

The Orange Rockerverb 100 MkIII is the flagship, higher-output model in Orange's twin-channel Rockerverb line, offering selectable 100/70/50/30-watt output via switchable power-tube configuration (4 or 2 active tubes) plus a half-power switch, giving the widest output-flexibility range in the Rockerverb MkIII lineup. Like the smaller 50 MkIII, it features the MkIII generation's reworked mains transformers for improved low-end response and articulation, an improved, more usable reverb with a brighter trail, and a built-in attenuator positioned after the master volume for shaping how the amp distorts post-preamp.
