Jimmy Page's black 1960 Gibson Les Paul Custom, nicknamed Black Beauty, was bought new in 1962 for 185 pounds and later retrofitted with a Bigsby vibrato, becoming the guitar he played throughout his time in the Yardbirds and during the earliest days of Led Zeppelin, visible in rare photos from the band's October 1969 Carnegie Hall show. Page's original went missing mid-tour in 1970 and remained lost for nearly 50 years until he was reunited with it in 2016.
