It debuted with Cream on 25 March 1967 at New Yorks RKO Theatre and became central to Claptons woman tone during that period. Because the artists never applied a sealer, the paint has flaked significantly over the decades, and Clapton later removed the vibrola plate, exposing more of the original artwork beneath.
