The Mad Professor Ruby Red Booster is a clean boost and treble booster pedal with Master, Boost, and Treble controls, plus an internal switch for a high-quality buffer in bypass mode. Boost sets the gain of the booster from unity up to roughly 40dB, high enough that the pedal begins to distort internally when cranked, letting it double as a light overdrive.
