The Jackson Audio Bloom V2 is a boutique optical compressor, EQ, and clean boost expanded with six studio-grade compression modes and full MIDI integration. Built around an optical limiting circuit inspired by vintage tube compressors, it stays transparent, adding a rounded organic glow and sustain rather than obvious squash. The active EQ shapes tone effectively and the transparent boost adds light grit while pushing downstream overdrives. The six modes range from gentle always-on leveling to aggressive pronounced compression, making it flexible for clean funk, country, worship, ambient, and studio work. MIDI control allows preset recall in larger rigs. It ships in a rugged stainless steel enclosure.
The Jackson Audio Hour Glass is a compact dual analog compressor built from two independent OTA circuits inspired by the legendary Ross compressor. Each side has its own Level, Sustain, and Blend controls plus selectable Fast, Medium, or Slow attack and a Flat, Medium, or High treble toggle to restore highs. The compression is warm, natural, and transparent, boosting sustain for singing leads while preserving the guitar's core tone. Players can dial one circuit for single coils and the other for humbuckers and switch instantly, or stack both for nearly endless sustain. It suits country, blues, worship, ambient, and lead playing where smooth sustain and tonal control matter, all in an unusually small enclosure.
