It produces a cascading, dancing series of stereo repeats held together with tape-style modulation, saturation, and compression, creating a lush, reverb-like diffusion that stays out of the way of the dry guitar. The signature sound comes from modulated delays subtly drifting in time across the stereo field while leaving the initial note uneffected.
