The Keeley Oxblood Overdrive is inspired by the Klon Centaur but built to deliver more gain than the original circuit, spanning a range from transparent boost to rich, harmonic overdrive. It uses a classic three-knob layout (Level, Tone, Drive) enhanced with a Phat switch for added bass presence and a Clipping switch toggling between uniquely voiced diode options, running on standard 9V DC power with true bypass switching.

The Tru-Fi Newton is a Klon Centaur-inspired overdrive and clean boost pedal offered in a compact modern enclosure. Its top-panel Centaur/Brown mode switch selects between a stock Centaur-style voicing and a Brown mode with roughly 20 percent more gain on tap. Internal DIP switches let players further tailor the circuit: one pair selects between stock treble response or a fuller, bassier voicing, while a second set chooses among the original 1N34A germanium diode clipping, no diode at all for a cleaner boost, or asymmetrical silicon diodes for a different breakup character. This flexibility lets the Newton function as either a transparent clean boost or a low-to-medium gain overdrive with the mid-forward push associated with Centaur-style circuits, without needing a different pedal for each variant.
