Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.55% — moderately similar

The Laney Black Country Customs Secret Path is a boutique, UK-handcrafted reverb pedal offering lush spring, plate, and ambient shimmer sounds with a clean four-knob interface. Its spring algorithm is drippy, boingy, and warm like a real tank, the plate mode is smoother and more studio-like, and the Secret Path mode conjures long, evolving ambient reverbs. Pre-delay sets the reverb's attack, Size scales from intimate rooms to expansive halls, and Volume and Tone shape output and tonality. Holding the footswitch engages an enhanced mode that adds modulation to the spring and plate voices and an ethereal shimmer to the Secret Path setting. With a silent footswitch and premium build, it suits ambient, post-rock, worship, and players wanting versatile, high-quality reverb.
The Laney Black Country Customs Secret Path is a hand-built British reverb pedal with three voices: a bright, springy Spring reverb, a smooth Plate reverb, and the Secret Path mode, a dark, brooding reverb suited to ambient and deep atmospheric soundscapes. Mix, tone, pre-delay and size controls shape each voice. Holding the footswitch engages an enhanced mode that adds modulation to the Plate and Spring settings and an ethereal shimmer to the Secret Path voice. Stereo outputs widen the sense of space and the pedal accepts an expression pedal. Ultra-quiet switching and a tri-colour mode indicator suit dark stages.
