The Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler simulates a wide range of classic delay and echo units in one pedal, from the tube-driven warmth of a vintage Echoplex tape echo to the hazy, modulated repeats of an Electro-Harmonix Memory Man, alongside cleaner digital and modern algorithmic delays. Its true stereo signal path keeps each modeled delay type sounding distinct and full rather than collapsed into a generic digital repeat, and built-in tap tempo makes it fast to lock delay time to a song's groove on the fly. A 14-second onboard looper adds live layering and improvisation on top of the delay engine. It suits players wanting one pedal that covers an enormous range of delay character, from vintage tape warmth to clean modern digital, without needing several dedicated units.
The Meris LVX Modular Delay System offers two independent delay lines, each with up to 2540ms of delay time, alongside a true stereo 60-second looper that can record both processed and dry signal. Six selectable delay structures (Standard, MultiTap, Multi Filter, Poly, Reverse, and Series) can be run through three delay types, digital, BBD-style analog bucket-brigade, or Magnetic tape emulation with saturation, degradation, and wow/flutter, giving an enormous range of delay textures from one pedal. It runs 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion with 32-bit floating point DSP at 48kHz for a high-fidelity signal path.
