Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Magnatone Starlite Reverb is a 5-watt, single-ended Class A tube combo sharing the base Starlite's 6V6/12AX7 tube complement and 8-inch USA-made WGS speaker, adding Accutronics Digi-Log spring reverb and a remote 8-ohm speaker jack for connecting an external cabinet. Like the non-reverb Starlite, its Tone control is voiced to cover both black-panel and tweed-era responses, and a Negative Feedback switch shifts the amp between clean sparkle and richer harmonic drive. This listing (sometimes marketed as "Reverb 10") represents the reverb-equipped version of the Starlite platform.

The Matchless 30/15 Reverb is a 1x12 combo with a switchable 30-watt/15-watt power stage, letting players drop to half power for earlier, sweeter breakup at lower stage volume without losing the brand's chimey, dynamic voice. Onboard reverb and the hand-wired EL84 circuit carry over from the rest of the Matchless line.
