Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.73% — moderately similar

The Marshall 1959HW Hand Wired is a point-to-point reissue of the 1959 Super Lead 100-watt Plexi, the non-master-volume head behind much of late-1960s and 1970s rock. EL34 power valves and vintage-spec components give it big, open cleans that bloom into rich, harmonically complex overdrive as the volume rises. With four inputs and two jumperable channels, it recreates the classic Hendrix-era British stack voicing. All of its grind comes from cranking the power section.
This is a Marshall Studio Vintage SV20C, a 20-watt all-valve 1x10 combo modeled on the 1959 Super Lead Plexi, in a special cosmetic edition. Its EL34 power and 20-watt/5-watt switch bring authentic Plexi cleans and crunch to club and studio volumes. The non-master circuit produces open, harmonically rich breakup when the power section is driven.
