Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.71% — moderately similar

This is a Mesa/Boogie TransAtlantic TA-30, a multi-watt (40/15/5-watt) all-valve 1x12 combo built on EL84 power, blending British and American voicings across two channels with multiple modes. From chimey Vox-like and tweed cleans to thick, crunchy British gain, it is a versatile, compact, lower-wattage Mesa favored by players wanting a wide range of classic tones in a portable package.
The Vox AC30CH Custom is the head version of the AC30, the 30-watt EL84 circuit that produced the British Invasion guitar sound and remains the reference for chime and jangle. As a head it drives an external cabinet, which on an AC30 is a larger change than on most amps given how much of the voice comes from speaker compression. At 30 watts it stays cleaner longer than an AC15 before breaking into the compressed, harmonically dense top end the design is known for. It suits jangle, indie, British invasion and classic rock players.
