Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. The Morley M2 Wah is an optical wah pedal using Morley's electro-optical design in place of a mechanical potentiometer, which removes the scratchy pot wear common to conventional wahs and gives a smooth, consistent sweep. It engages automatically when the pedal is pressed rather than needing a heel-down click switch. The voicing is a wide, vocal sweep with a throaty midrange peak, broader in range than a standard Cry Baby, and a dual-mode switch selects between voicings. True bypass keeps the signal clean when disengaged.
The Morley Tye Trujillo TruDrive Wah is a signature wah pedal from Morley (El Monte, California), designed in collaboration with Tye Trujillo (son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo), delivering Morley optical wah combined with onboard drive for wah-drive combination tones. The TruDrive Wah combines Morley switchless optical wah with drive for rock and metal wah applications.
