Independent Gain and Volume knobs for each channel let players set distinct rhythm and lead voicings on one pedal, while Bass, Treble, Presence, and Tight controls give precise tonal shaping. A True-bypass/Buffer-bypass toggle and a 9V/18V voltage switch are included, with the 18V setting widening dynamic range and headroom. It's aimed at players wanting tight, articulate distortion with real punch rather than a single fixed high-gain voicing.

The Wampler ReWired is Brent Mason's signature two-channel overdrive and distortion, an evolution of his earlier Hot Wired refined to his exact specifications. The overdrive channel captures Mason's rhythm tones, running from crystal-clear light dirt to a punchy, muscular drive with the tight articulation his country and session work demands. The distortion channel is warm and moderate but rich in harmonics, aimed at lead work either alone or stacked with the overdrive for maximum weight.
