Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.31% — somewhat different

Citation/mention fame — how often this gear is cited across artist rigs and gear discussion. The NuX Vibe is a Uni-Vibe-style pedal from NuX, delivering the swirling, Doppler-effect phaser and vibrato character of vintage Uni-Vibe units in a compact format at accessible budget pricing. It provides Uni-Vibe-style chorus and vibrato modes suited to classic-rock and Hendrix-style vintage tones, offering a way to get the classic swirling vibe character without the cost of a boutique or original Uni-Vibe unit. It suits budget-conscious players wanting a taste of authentic Uni-Vibe swirl rather than boutique-level circuit fidelity.
The ThorpyFX Pulse Doppler is an all-analogue twin-notch four-stage phaser developed with original Lovetone designer Dan Coggins, effectively a MkII of his 1995 Doppelganger in a far more compact and usable form. Multiple operating modes span classic phase shifting, pitch-wobbling vibrato, pure pulsating tremolo and a range of points in between. Depth, Rate, Blend, Enhance and Manual controls, plus two toggles and two footswitches, let it mimic the sweep of an MXR Phase 90 or an Electro-Harmonix Small Stone as well as Uni-Vibe throb and rotary-speaker shadings, though its overall tonality is brighter than a genuine '70s unit. Separate dry and wet outputs make it a true stereo effect, where its psychedelic swirl is most persuasive. It rewards learning rather than being plug-and-play. Built in a military-grade aircraft aluminium enclosure.
