The Two-Rock Bloomfield Drive 6V6 40W 1x12 Combo is the lower-powered combo version of the company's most versatile two-channel design, running a quartet of 6V6 output tubes with gain cascading through four 12AX7 preamp valves. The 6V6 output section gives a slightly softer, more compressed feel than the 6L6 version while keeping the dimensional Two-Rock clean channel and the cascading overdrive that reaches well beyond the single-channel amps in the range. Its all-tube spring reverb is designed so as not to interfere with the overdrive channel. At 40 watts, switchable lower, it is far more practical in a room than the 100-watt head.
