The Phil Jones Bass BG-75 Double Four is a compact bass combo from PJB's Double Four line, the smallest family in the range. It applies the company's design approach of using small drivers for faster transient response and clearer midrange than conventional bass cabinets, in an enclosure built for maximum portability. The Double Four line is aimed at practice, rehearsal and quiet performance settings rather than loud stages. It suits bassists who need articulate amplification they can carry easily, particularly upright, fretless and acoustic players where note clarity matters more than low-end weight.
The Phil Jones Compact 2 (C2 Black) shares the same 2x5-inch driver configuration and compact cabinet design as other C2 finishes, delivering Phil Jones's characteristic full, articulate bass response from a small footprint. The Black finish offers a more understated, versatile cosmetic option compared to the Red C2 variant, while retaining identical acoustic performance and multi-driver engineering.
