Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Pigtronix Octava Micro is a compact octave-up fuzz, a smaller-format version of the Pigtronix Octava. It generates a harmonically rich upper octave above the played note and blends it with a saturated fuzz voice, giving the searing, vocal, ring-modulated character associated with classic octave-fuzz circuits. The octave effect tracks most clearly on single notes played above the twelfth fret and around the neck pickup, and turns thick and intermodulated on chords, which is characteristic of the design rather than a fault.

The Voodoo Lab Proctavia is a premium octave fuzz pedal from Voodoo Lab of Santa Rosa, California, faithfully recreating the classic Tycobrahe Parachute octave fuzz character with thick, harmonically rich fuzz and upper octave enhancement in quality construction.
