The Positive Grid Spark 2 is a compact, battery-capable modeling amp from Positive Grid's popular Spark line, built around AI-powered tone shaping, extensive amp and effects modeling, and companion app integration for jamming along with smart backing tracks and accessing an expanded library of tones. It continues the Spark series' focus on making practice more engaging through built-in music-recognition features and app-based tone customization, in a portable, home-practice-oriented format.
Traynor, the Canadian amplifier brand now owned by Yorkville, has spent decades building durable, working-musician-focused amps that prioritize dependable performance over boutique flash, and the TVM15 fits that established pattern as a modest-wattage combo suited to practice and small-venue use. Traynor's amps historically earned trust among gigging musicians specifically for reliability under demanding, repeated use rather than chasing trend-driven features, a reputation the brand has maintained across changing amp technology eras. The 15 in the model designation likely indicates its wattage class, positioning it as a compact practice or small-gig amp rather than a full-power stage head.
