The Positive Grid Spark is a 40-watt digital modelling practice amplifier built around app integration rather than front-panel controls alone. Its selling point is software: the companion app offers amp and effect models, and features that listen to what you play — generating backing tracks in a chosen key and style, and transcribing chords from songs so the amp can accompany practice. That makes it a practice tool as much as an amplifier, aimed at players learning material rather than at stage use. It suits home players and learners who want modelled tones plus practice functionality in one desktop-sized box.
The Positive Grid Spark 2 is a compact, battery-capable modeling amp from Positive Grid's popular Spark line, built around AI-powered tone shaping, extensive amp and effects modeling, and companion app integration for jamming along with smart backing tracks and accessing an expanded library of tones. It continues the Spark series' focus on making practice more engaging through built-in music-recognition features and app-based tone customization, in a portable, home-practice-oriented format.
