The PRS HX 50 is a 50-watt guitar amp head driven by a pair of EL34EH power tubes, paired with a custom-designed Straight Edge output transformer and a 100-watt power supply, a deliberate design choice giving it tonal character closer to its larger 100-watt sibling than a typical 50-watt amp would have. The Reinhardt Storm 33 is a boutique 33-watt Class A all-tube amplifier built by Bob Reinhardt, using high-grade components including Heyboer transformers, Sozo Vintage capacitors, Mallory 150 caps, one-percent tolerance resistors, and Teflon wiring throughout for a low-noise, highly articulate signal path.
