Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.49% — somewhat different

The Rainger FX Echo-X Mini is a compact digital delay pedal from the inventive British maker David Rainger, condensing the original Echo-X delay into a smaller pedalboard footprint. It ships with the Igor external pressure-pad controller, used across several Rainger FX pedals to add expressive real-time control, typically pitch or parameter shifts triggered by foot pressure rather than a conventional knob sweep. It suits players wanting unconventional, hands-on delay control rather than a set-and-forget digital delay.
The SolidGoldFX EM-III is an envelope-modulated echo pedal from SolidGoldFX (Canada), combining delay repeats with tremolo modulation that responds to pick attack for dynamic, rhythmic delay effects. The EM-III merges analog-voiced delay with touch-sensitive modulation for expressive, dynamic echo effects that respond musically to playing dynamics.
