Description

The smallsound/bigsound Mini is a compact JFET overdrive and fuzz pedal that condenses the voicing of the companies larger flagship overdrive into a smaller footprint. Its cascading JFET gain stages give it a full-range, amp-like drive character rather than the more clipped voicing typical of diode-based overdrives, and a center bias control shifts the sound from clean, sparkly overdrive toward a woolier, sputtery, gated fuzz as it is turned. Added low-end content and a bass-cut knob let players manage low-frequency output to taste. It covers a wide range from clean boost and light sparkly overdrive to lo-fi, old-radio textures and gated fuzz, suiting players who want one compact pedal spanning boost, overdrive, and fuzz territory.

The ThorpyFX WOPR combines a more aggressive variant of Thorpy's Fallout Cloud Muff-style fuzz circuit with a Rangemaster-inspired treble booster in one pedal, delivering a ferocious, biting tone with extra treble zing on top of thick Triangle-Muff-style fuzz. It ranges from bright, ice-picky, cutting fuzz tones to a woolier, sludgier voice suited to doom-metal riffing, with active Treble and Bass controls allowing both additive and reductive tone shaping. The Boost side's Range and Boost controls let players dial in different flavors of Rangemaster-style treble boost, stackable with the fuzz side for an especially explosive, aggressive combined tone. It suits players wanting an aggressive, treble-forward fuzz with real boost versatility built in.
