The Sonicake Fazy Sandwich (QSS-24) is a 100% analogue mini fuzz offering three classic Muff-flavoured fuzz voices from a two-knob layout of Fuzz and Tone. The three settings are distinct enough to be genuinely useful rather than cosmetic, spanning thick, woolly, heavily sustaining saturation through to tighter, more articulate fuzz. The tone control either fattens the bottom end for a darker, heavier voice or opens up crystalline sparkle at the top, and the pedal cleans up well from the guitar's volume knob, which widens its range considerably. Users point to Hendrix, Neil Young and Red Hot Chili Peppers territory as its natural home. True bypass in a hard metal casing at a budget price.

Classic mode is a traditional vintage-style fuzz with a scooped midrange -- thick and woolly with the familiar Muff-like sustain. Gate mode drops the bias voltage for glitchy, spitty, dying-battery scuzz that stutters and collapses between notes, ideal for staccato riffing and lo-fi textures.
