The Supro Saturn Reverb is a reissue of the 1964-era Supro design, and sits alongside the Black Magick in the company's vintage-inspired line. Its distinguishing feature within the range is that it carries both tremolo and reverb, where the Black Magick offers tremolo only, making it the more fully featured of the two classic circuits. Supro amplifiers of this era were built by Valco and are associated with the raw, midrange-forward American amp sound of the early sixties rather than the cleaner Fender voicing of the same period. The Supro 1695TJ Black Magick is a variant of the Black Magick line, the range modelled on Jimmy Page's 1959 Supro combo that produced most of the guitar tones on Led Zeppelin I.
