The Vox AC15C2 Custom is the twin-twelve version of the AC15, a 15-watt all-valve combo running EL84 output tubes. The AC15 circuit is the smaller sibling of the AC30 that defined the British Invasion sound, and at 15 watts it reaches the chiming compression and jangly breakup Vox is known for at volumes the AC30 cannot manage indoors. Two twelve-inch speakers give considerably more spread and low-end body than the standard 1x12 AC15. It suits jangle, indie, British invasion and blues players who want AC voicing with more air than a single speaker provides.

The Vox MV50 AC is the member of the Nutube-powered MV50 line voiced after the company's own AC amplifiers, delivering the chiming, jangly character of the AC30 lineage rather than the crunch of the MV50 Rock. This set pairs the head with a BC108 cabinet, making it a complete miniature rig rather than a head alone. Nutube is a miniature vacuum fluorescent triode giving real valve behaviour in a very small package. It suits jangle and British invasion players who want that voice in a genuinely portable rig.
