Similarity
citedBlended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. Shown only within a gear class, and only where there's enough evidence to be meaningful.

Description

The Vox AC30HWRH is the hand-wired two-channel 30-watt AC30 head, built point-to-point rather than on the printed circuit boards used across the standard Custom line. Hand-wiring is the entire premise of this version: the same circuit assembled to a higher standard with different component choices, which owners consistently describe as more open and responsive than the PCB-built equivalents. It keeps the EL84 output section and the chiming compression that defines the AC30. It suits players who want the reference British chime built to the highest standard Vox offers.

The Vox Mini SuperBeetle is a miniature amp stack pairing an MV50-style Nutube head with a matching small cabinet, styled after the classic 1960s Vox stacks the Beatles used. Compact yet genuinely loud, it delivers chiming Vox tone with onboard reverb and a speaker-simulated output, serving as a portable, eye-catching head-and-cab for practice, gigging, and recording.
