Blended from circuit-archetype lineage, dynamic feel, tone-signal overlap and tone-vector distance — the tone vector itself is derived from editorial description text, not a measured acoustic signal, so this reflects how similarly the catalog copy describes the two, not a lab measurement. The Wampler Latitude is an analog-voiced tremolo offering both traditional amplitude tremolo and more adventurous special effects, with controls for Attack, Depth, Speed, and Level plus, on the Deluxe, note subdivision selection, tap tempo, and a waveform selector. Slowing the speed down can give a pseudo phase-shifter feel, while hard attack settings create sharp, choppy effects like the Boulevard of Broken Dreams pulse. It ranges from smooth, gentle vintage throb to hard-edged stutter and rhythmic textures, with the Attack control shaping how abruptly the volume peaks and valleys hit. It suits players wanting versatile, high-quality tremolo, from classic amp-style wobble to sharp rhythmic and special-effect modulation, in a well-built true-bypass pedal for surf, indie, rock, and atmospheric styles.
The Wampler Latitude Deluxe Tremolo is a premium tap-tempo tremolo pedal from Wampler Pedals (Indianapolis, Indiana), offering three waveforms (sine, square, and peak/bell-shaped), four sub-divisions (quarter, eighth, dotted eighth, triplet), and Speed, Depth, Attack, Space, and Level controls. Described as a tremolo aimed at the tinkerer, it can mimic vintage 1950s amp throb or create modern synth-like chopped rhythmic textures.
