Direct Sound built the EX-29 Extreme Isolation Headphones as heavy-duty, closed-back hearing protection for musicians and audio professionals, using custom 40mm high-fidelity drivers inside thickly padded, sealed earcups that reduce external noise by up to 29 decibels, functionally closer to noise-isolating earmuffs than typical consumer headphones.
