Hungry Robot Wardenclyffe Deluxe
Hungry Robot · pedal
The Hungry Robot Wardenclyffe Deluxe is a feature-packed lo-fi modulation pedal, not a delay, built around the same core circuit and DSP as the original Wardenclyffe with added controls. A Clock knob slows the DSP's internal clock rate for a uniquely muddy, glitchy degradation, while a dedicated ambient pad level control layers in generated atmospheric tone, and three small vinyl-simulation knobs add hiss, crackle, and pop for authentic worn-record character. Tap tempo now syncs the modulation rate via a second footswitch. It suits players wanting deep, glitchy, lo-fi modulation textures with real vinyl-style degradation rather than a clean, modern modulation voice.
