The Ibanez PT Gate (Pentatone Gate) is a standalone noise gate pedal derived from the gate section of the Ibanez Pentatone Preamp. A threshold mode switch selects appropriate sensitivity ranges for different noise floor levels. Four I/O jacks allow the gate to be placed inline, in an amplifier's effects loop, or between a distortion pedal and the output for optimal noise suppression placement.
