Mooer Micro Preamp 004 Day Tripper
Mooer · pedal
The Mooer Micro Preamp 004 Day Tripper takes its voicing from the Vox AC30, the class-A EL84 combo behind the British Invasion's chime and its thick, compressed top-end crunch when pushed. The clean channel keeps the AC30's characteristic sparkle rather than a flat modern clean.
What stands out
“Cab simulation built into the preamp streamlines direct recording and practice setups”
— from the reviews
“A strong option for players in Mooer's ecosystem specifically wanting vintage British-pop jangle”
— from the reviews
“Standout strength is the dual-channel design giving access to both cleaner and slightly driven versions of the source amp's chimey character”
— from the community notes
“Primary use case is British Invasion, power-pop, and jangle-rock clean and edge-of-breakup tones”
— from the community notes
“integrated cab simulation adds the same direct-recording convenience found across the rest of mooer”
