Pigtronix Disnortion Micro
Pigtronix · pedal
The Pigtronix Disnortion Micro packs the analogue fuzz and overdrive circuits of the full-size Disnortion into a nine-volt micro enclosure, dropping the original's octave section and calling both circuits up from a single footswitch. In parallel mode the two blend into a predominantly overdrive-flavoured voice running from clean boost, through convincingly gritty edge-of-breakup, to a raunchy natural distortion with a crisp fuzzy edge that keeps individual string clarity. A series option cascades the six-stage CMOS overdrive into the diode-clipping fuzz, producing a much louder, filthier, speaker-shredding fuzz with correspondingly more background noise. The result is a wide distortion palette in a small footprint, from subtle grit to fully saturated chaos.
