Source Audio L.A. Lady
Source Audio · pedal
The Source Audio L.A. Lady is a programmable DSP overdrive carrying three onboard drive engines. Classic delivers the sound of an overdriven Marshall, mid-forward with a British crunch character; Smooth gives a saturation modelled on a Mesa/Boogie with boosted highs and lows for a beefy, precise, long-sustaining lead voice; and Crunch is Source Audio's own warm, chunky low-gain design. Each of the three slots can be reloaded from over 40 additional overdrive, distortion and fuzz algorithms through the free Neuro mobile and desktop editors, with custom presets saved and shared. MIDI expands storage to 128 presets with program change support. It pairs DSP flexibility with an organic, amp-like feel rather than an obviously digital one.
