Wylde Audio WA90
Wylde Audio · pedal
The Wylde Audio WA90 is a four-stage all-analogue phaser built by Dunlop in Zakk Wylde's signature livery, using a single Rate control in the classic Phase 90 tradition. Its sweep runs from a slow, warm, liquid swirl adding subtle movement and dimension to sustained notes, through to a fast, watery, deeply psychedelic whoosh. The voicing is smooth and thick rather than harsh, so it holds together under heavy distortion, which is where Wylde uses it -- high-gain rhythm and lead work at slow speeds, where the phase movement animates the tone without blurring the attack. Streamlined and pedalboard-practical, with no menus or secondary controls to manage.
