The Dr. Scientist Frazz Dazzler is a dual-channel aggressive fuzz pedal handmade in British Columbia, Canada by boutique manufacturer Dr. Scientist. It features two selectable gain channels, an active three-band EQ with bass at 100Hz, midrange at 800Hz, and treble at 3kHz with up to 15dB of cut or boost in each band, and a proprietary voltage starve system that reduces headroom for sounds ranging from thinned clean to glitchy sub-octave sputtering. A wet/dry Mix control allows parallel fuzz blending. The high-gain channel includes a built-in noise gate. An expression pedal input accepts real-time Mix control. Suitable for guitar, bass, and synthesizer, it covers an exceptionally wide range of fuzz textures in a single enclosure.

The Electronic Audio Experiments Eldritch Blast V2 is a high-gain fuzz built around an octave/intermodulation generator producing splatty, octave-up textures alongside sinister high-gain fuzz tones, shaped by a switchable active EQ and a More control governing the octave-feed intensity. The 2021 V2 revision moved to an SMT circuit board with soft-touch bypass switching and added a Chaos toggle for gated textural effects, along with improved EQ headroom, though it runs at slightly lower gain and output than the original V1 circuit.
