The Gibson ES-335 Dot is a semi-hollow electric guitar featuring Gibson's classic double-cutaway design with a solid maple center block running through the body, combining the resonance of a hollow-body with the feedback resistance and sustain of a solid-body instrument. The Gibson Little Lucille, launched in 1999, is a semi-hollow guitar built in the spirit of B.B. King's famous signature Lucille while being based on a different platform, Gibson's Blueshawk, fitted with a Tune-o-matic bridge and TP-6 fine-tuning stoptail in place of the Blueshawk's original hardware.
