The MXR DD30 Dookie Drive 30th Anniversary is a limited-edition overdrive pedal created for Billie Joe Armstrong and Green Day, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Dookie album. It recreates the sound of two heavily modified amplifiers Armstrong blended in the studio — a scooped high-gain channel and a midrange-forward crunch channel — each with independent controls and a Blend knob to combine them in any ratio. A Scoop switch dips the midrange on the combined output. It produces a dirty, punchy, harmonically layered overdrive tuned specifically for pop-punk and punk rock.
