Empress ParaEQ Bass Parametric EQ
Empress · pedal
The Empress Bass ParaEQ is a three-band parametric equalizer built from the ground up for bass rather than adapted from a guitar circuit, based on the design of the ParaEQ MKII Deluxe. Each band lets players choose the exact frequency, boost/cut amount, and adjustment width, with plus/minus 15dB of gain per band and adjustable high- and low-pass filters, engineered so the bands overlap precisely in key bass frequency ranges, useful for tasks like boosting 200Hz for thickness while cutting 300Hz to reduce mud. An adjustable clean boost with its own footswitch adds gain ahead of an effects chain or into a tube amp's input. It runs on 27V internal headroom with an ultra-low-noise, buffered signal path and an auto-detecting balanced output for studio and live use.
