Jackson Audio FUZZ
Jackson Audio · pedal
The Jackson Audio FUZZ is a modular fuzz built around swappable analogue plug-in modules, shipping with two: a Modern Fuzz voice capable of crushing, wall-like gain that still cleans up as the guitar volume is rolled back, and a Classic/Vintage module that is a refinement of the Fuzz Face circuit with its warm, touch-sensitive, singing character. The standout feature is a three-band parametric EQ with 20dB of boost or cut per band, a sweepable mid-frequency control and a Q control for each band, so the fuzz can be scooped, made honking and midrange-forward, or tightened at the bottom -- a level of tone shaping no other compact fuzz offers. A flexible octave-up circuit adds ring-modulated, searing upper harmonics, and with the octave dialled back it behaves as a boost, unlocking Tone Bender-style tones in front of another fuzz.
