Keeley Moon
Keeley · pedal
The Keeley Moon Op Amp Fuzz is a high-gain op-amp Big Muff-style fuzz, extracted from the quad-op-amp Muff circuit inside Keeley's Gilmour-inspired Dark Side workstation and beefed up as a standalone pedal. It is thick, massively saturated and bass-heavy, with a wealth of harmonic content and a wall-of-sound sustain that makes thinner fuzzes sound weedy alongside it. Volume, Filter and Fuzz controls are joined by a three-way voicing switch offering classic scooped mids, a flat EQ, and a Full setting with pronounced midrange for cutting through a band. The Filter control has a notably wide usable range, running from dark and woolly to sharp and cutting. Suits players after heavy, doom-leaning and Gilmour-style op-amp Muff tones.
