Mesa Boogie Rectifier Badlander EL34/100 Head
Mesa Boogie · amplifier
The Mesa Boogie Rectifier Badlander EL34/100 Head is a two-channel 100-watt amplifier from the Rectifier family, running EL34 output tubes rather than the 6L6s used across most of the series, which gives it a tighter and more British midrange character. Each channel offers three selectable modes named Clean, Crunch and Crush, so the two channels between them cover sparkling clean sounds through to high gain. It includes Mesa's CabClone IR for direct recording and silent stage use. The Rectifier circuit descends from the Fender 5F6A tweed Bassman before Mesa reworked it into the modern high-gain standard. It suits hard rock and metal players wanting a tighter Recto voice with modern recording features.
