Mooer Lofi Machine
Mooer · pedal
The Mooer Lofi Machine is a micro digital degradation pedal combining bit-crushing, sample-rate reduction and a tape-saturation-style simulation. Reducing bit depth introduces quantisation grit and a harsh, granular edge to the signal, while lowering the sample rate adds aliasing artefacts, a gritty metallic top end and a progressively narrower, telephone-like bandwidth. The tape mode softens and saturates instead, rolling off the highs for a warmer, worn, degraded character. Together they cover everything from a subtly aged vintage-sampler flavour to fully destroyed 8-bit crunch. Suited to lo-fi, indie, shoegaze and experimental players wanting deliberate digital artefacts rather than clean reproduction, in Mooer's mini enclosure at a budget price.
