The Two-Rock Bi-Onyx is a dual-channel amplifier designed to give two-channel players a greater degree of independent control than the company's earlier designs, with fully separate controls for the clean and lead channels including EQ, gain, master, reverb, contour and volume boost. Because nothing is shared between the channels, the clean and lead voices can be set completely independently rather than compromising around a common tone stack. It is offered as a 50 or 100 watt head with EL34 output tubes as standard and 6L6 as an option, the EL34s giving a more British midrange character than the 6L6 amps in the Two-Rock range. Channel selection and volume boost are footswitchable. It suits players who need two genuinely distinct sounds from one amplifier.
