Watkins Dominator
Unknown brand · amplifier
The Watkins Dominator is a 1960s tube combo amplifier featuring three ECC83/12AX7 preamp tubes, two EL84 output tubes, EZ81 rectifier, and approximately 17 watts RMS output through two 10 inch Elac alnico-magnet drivers. The two-channel design includes a normal channel (Volume + Tone) and tremolo channel (Volume, Tone, Tremolo Speed, Depth). The mids and highs are sparkly clean with surprising warmth and depth. Even at high volume, the tone remains clear and round with controlled growl. The tone control adds variable treble cut above 1kHz.
