The ZVex Vexter Series Fuzz Factory is an unpredictable, highly interactive germanium fuzz capable of the widest range of fuzz-derived sounds in a single pedal, from conventional harmonically rich fuzz to resonant, tunable droning feedback to gated, staccato, glitchy cutouts. Its Gate control rebiases the first germanium transistor, and at extreme settings the pedal self-oscillates into synth-like, Theremin-esque tones, shortwave-radio noise, and velcro-ripping textures that intermodulate as notes decay.
